To me, beauty can be so THERE and apparent that it seems almost blinding to the viewer. We get blinded by the obvious beauty of something. However, beauty can be binding in the way that we get trapped within the beauty or depth of the thing/picture. It’s also binding in the way that once I get my sight back from being blinded, I feel an overpowering sense of sadness for the beautiful thing, because it too is trapped within its own beauty.
